What hardware will I need?
You use your own compatible Android TV or Google TV device. The ScreenBite player app runs on it.
How many TVs can a location link?
There's no account limit. Pair each TV using its short-lived code and assign a rotation.
Will my menu disappear if Wi-Fi drops?
No. The playback contract caches a complete, verified publication locally and keeps showing the last valid version offline.
Can I upload a finished menu image?
Yes. JPG, PNG and WebP uploads receive decoded-file validation, optimisation and low-resolution warnings.
Can videos repeat?
Yes. A video plays to its natural end before the next item. If it's the only item in the rotation, it loops continuously.
Are there subscriptions or watermarks?
No. ScreenBite is a closed project for private takeaway location accounts, with one package and no customer billing.
Can staff have separate logins?
Yes. The foundation separates users, businesses and memberships. Owner, manager, editor and viewer permissions are built in.
